SHIPPED IT

These are Emblemry’s own words, written before the badge was drawn.

Subject

A crisp modern-flat paper boat, its folded triangular hull cresting beyond a clean harbor wall into broad open water, with graphic wave bands and a clear horizon conveying forward motion and release.

Motifs

• paper boat Anchor

Draw as the dominant folded-paper silhouette in warm white with sharp navy fold lines and a coral underside accent, angled upward as it clears the harbor wall.

• harbor wall Supporting

Render as a sturdy, simplified dark-navy geometric wall receding from the lower edge, with clean block divisions and no rocky detailing.

• open water Supporting

Use layered flat blue wave bands beyond the wall, widening toward the horizon and leaving generous unbroken water shapes around the boat.

• wave crests Supporting

Add a few small, rounded pale crests as sparse directional accents beneath and behind the boat, avoiding any symbol-like marks.

Palette

Deep navy for the harbor wall, saturated ocean blue with lighter blue wave bands, warm white for the boat, and a restrained coral accent on the folded hull; use clean solid fills and navy linework only, with no gradients or texture.

Composition

Use a bold rounded badge silhouette with the paper boat breaking diagonally from the lower harbor-wall area into the open upper water field. Set “SHIPPED IT” as the dominant confident sans-serif title in a broad navy banner across the upper portion, leaving the boat visibly crossing below it rather than obscuring the lettering. Keep the harbor wall low and receding, let wave bands lead outward toward the horizon, and reserve calm open-water negative space around the boat and between the title banner and horizon. Use a simple solid border that remains visually secondary to the title and boat.
