These are Emblemry’s own words, written before the badge was drawn.

Subject

A self-contained classic-car sales badge showing a stately mid-century saloon in three-quarter view, with its long hood, rounded roofline, chrome-like bumper lines and circular headlamps clearly recognisable. A smaller period price-tag placard and a simplified row of distant car-roof silhouettes establish the dealership setting without competing with the vehicle.

Palette

Restrained, low-saturation classic dealership palette: warm ivory ground, charcoal-black monoline work and lettering, with a muted burgundy accent on the title panel and small sale-tag detail. Keep all areas flat, with no gradients, shading or bright colours.

Composition

Use a bold rounded dealer-emblem silhouette with a broad, dominant title band across the upper-middle area reading “Bill’s Classic Car Sales” in sturdy condensed lettering. Place the saloon beneath and slightly overlapping the band so its roofline remains visible above it and its wheels establish the lower edge. Set the small price tag near one lower corner and the distant roofline marks behind the car. Reserve clean open ivory space around the roof, windshield and wheel arches so the vehicle reads immediately; keep the frame as a simple charcoal outline with minimal worn-print breaks.
